It’s a combination of high-protein, low-sugar ice cream and a flourless brownie sweetened with only banana and a touch of maple syrup. Our FlavCity Brownie Batter Protein Smoothie (made with organic butter and non-GMO buttermilk) is the star of this protein-packed ice cream that tops a chocolatey and grain-free brownie. You just won’t believe how healthy this decadent creation is! It’ll be a hit with everyone who tastes it! Makes 4 servings

  • Add the half & half and the FlavCity Protein Smoothie to the FlavCity Shaker Bottle and shake it vigorously for at least 20 seconds. Then pour
    it into a Ninja Creami container and freeze overnight.
  • The next day, start by making the brownies. Preheat the oven to 350F. Spray a small ½ quart (16 oz) baking dish with avocado oil spray.
  • Mash the banana in a bowl, then crack in the egg and add the maple syrup. Mix it up well and then, add the baking powder and the cacao powder, and mix again to combine.
  • Chop the pecans and add them to the batter, giving it one last stir.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for about 28 minutes until the center is fully set.
  • Remove from the oven and allow it to cool.
  • Finish making the ice cream. Remove the ice cream base from the freezer and let it sit out for about 10 minutes so it softens up just a little.
    Meanwhile, chop the chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Place the container of softened ice cream on the Creami machine and hit the ‘Ice Cream’ button. Let it mix, then remove it and check its consistency. If
    it’s powdery, add a splash of half & half and hit the ‘Respin’ button. Once it’s a smooth ice cream consistency, add the chocolate chips and pecans to the ice cream. Put it back on the machine and hit the ‘Mix In’ button.
  • Cut the brownie into four servings and plate them. Then, scoop some ice cream on top and enjoy!
