Chocolate chip cookies are a go-to dessert staple. These Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies are made with our FlavCity Protein Smoothie and are a healthier alternative to store-bought cookies or ready-made cookie dough. Make ‘em, bake ‘em, indulge and enjoy!

Directions

  • Line a sheet tray with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, FlavCity Protein Smoothie, and salt, and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, using a hand mixer, beat together the sugar and butter for 1 minute on high speed.
  • Add nut butter and vanilla extract, and beat on medium for 15 seconds or until combined.
  • Add egg, and beat to combine, again.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir with a spatula until thoroughly combined.
  • Add the chocolate chips and mix until combined.
  • Cover cookie dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Using a small scoop, place balls of dough on the prepared sheet tray a few inches apart.
  • Bake for 13 minutes, or until lightly browned around the edges.
  • Let cool on the tray, and enjoy!

*Note: may substitute butter with ghee or coconut oil.
