Apple Pancakes

There is no better way to start your morning than with a big stack of pancakes. We added two apples and our FlavCity Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie to make them extra satisfying and nutritious!! Makes 6 pancakes.

  • Add all the wet ingredients (eggs, egg white, water, and vanilla) to a blender and mix for 20-30 seconds, until it’s nice and airy.
  • Add the remaining ingredients (except the apples and ghee) and blend for another 20-30 seconds.
  • Pour the batter into a bowl and set aside.
  • Core the apples and then slice them into ‘donuts’ about ⅛-inch thick.
  • Add the ghee to a pre-heated griddle. Then dip the apple slices into the batter and place them on the griddle, topping each apple slice with a little more batter.
  • Flip each apple after 2-3 minutes when they’re golden brown, and cook on the second side for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Top with maple syrup, and enjoy!
